The EU project YETI revolves around a target group with a special position when it comes to empowering young people through entrepreneurship education. Through YETI, teachers should be able to integrate elements of entrepreneurial thinking and action into their practical teaching right from the start of their work. Theoretical knowledge about entrepreneurship education from the university environment should be transferred to real teaching environments as early as possible.
However, the beginning of the professional career is marked by numerous challenges of the new everyday life as a teacher. Through the YETI consortium, the induction of young teachers has been studied in three different countries - Austria, Poland and Hungary. We want to find out how entrepreneurship education can be integrated into this process. The resulting report, the YETI Teacher Pathway Report, was developed, showing the educational pathway of trainee teachers as they transition from Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes to autonomous and successful teaching in schools. The report was led by our Polish partner, the University of Bielsko-Biala.
Below you can download the general report as well as the smaller reports that focus on the national contexts of the three European countries. We hope you enjoy reading them! In a second step, a survey of graduates is currently being finalised, which will provide information on the role entrepreneurship education already plays for graduates and which components they consider particularly important. The results will also be published soon.
