PIETE and YETI are best practices

Our EU projects YETI (Young Entrepreneurial Teachers Initiative) and PIETE (Partnership for Initial Entrepreneurship Teacher Education) have been selected as best practice by the European Commission! According to the "Guide to Fostering Entrepreneurship Education", they are among the best examples in the EU that support the promotion of entrepreneurial competences, especially in the field of teacher education.

In order to improve European cooperation and policy building in the field of entrepreneurship education, the European Commission has published the "Guide to Fostering Entrepreneurship Education". It highlights the potential of entrepreneurship education for Europeans to tackle pressing challenges such as climate change and digitalisation, and in particular to become more (economically) resilient in the face of pandemics. An important cornerstone for increased promotion and awareness in this area is the entrepreneurial competences of teachers and leaders in schools and universities and the ability to pass these competences on to students. This task is accelerated by the already completed PIETE project, for which Univations was the project leader, and its spin-off initiative YETI.
