When it comes to innovations made in Saxony-Anhalt, there's no getting around the Hugo Junkers Prize. For more than three decades, the state competition has been honoring forward-looking ideas from science, industry and crafts in the state.
For the first time, Univations GmbH is supporting the Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection and the Environment of the State of Saxony-Anhalt in the implementation. "Every year, the award winners demonstrate with their innovations and their implementation how intensively and future-oriented research and development is carried out in the state," says Daniel Worch. "I am sure that also in 2023 ideas and products will receive an award that will be talked about. We are very pleased to accompany the Hugo Junkers Award 2023 as a processing partner," says the Univations CEO.
Among other things, the Univations team is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the jury meetings and the award event in July 2023, as well as strengthening public relations for the Hugo Junkers Prize.
The application phase is currently underway. Innovations from science, industry and trade can apply in four categories until January 11, 2023:
- Most innovative basic research projects
- Most innovative applied research projects
- Most innovative products, services and business models
- Special award: Most innovative plans and projects in the field of energy and environmental research
Founders, individuals, entrepreneurs and scientists who are based in Saxony-Anhalt or have their place of business in the state are eligible to enter.A total of 80,000 euros in prize money will be awarded at the Hugo Junkers Prize 2023.
