European Tourism Day with Univations contribution

Univations GmbH is represented with a contribution at the European Tourism Day in Brussels on May 5, 2023! Our colleague Florian Bratzke enriches the program with a short video message. The background is the request of the EU to actively support the so-called "Transition Pathway in Tourism" through own measures. Univations has complied with this request.

Together with our European partners Management Center Innsbruck, University of Szeged and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences we want to address the issue of skills mismatch in the tourism sector.

The European Commission selected our commitment to address this issue as a good practice and asked Florian to appear in front of the camera for the European Tourism Day.

The aim of a jointly submitted Erasmus+ project is to better align the higher education of students with the skills needs of the labor market. One focus in the European Year of Skills 2023 is on green skills in particular. Currently, the project proposal submitted in March is being evaluated. Hopefully, the project will soon become part of our successful portfolio of European education projects.

For years, Univations GmbH has been bringing together a wide variety of actors within Europe to launch new initiatives for teaching entrepreneurship.

Now we have to keep our fingers crossed that we will soon be able to make a positive contribution to the implementation of the Tourism Transition Pathway with our project.
