Successful boot camp by echt.MACHEN inspires pupils to think like entrepreneurs

Univations GmbH hosted the echt.MACHEN boot camp as part of its project at the Central German Multimedia Center (MMZ) on Tuesday. Over 120 bright pupils from five different schools in Saxony-Anhalt, accompanied by their teachers, flocked to the event full of curiosity.

The day began at 10 a.m. with a warm welcome and inspiring keynotes from experienced experts, who provided a glimpse behind the scenes of entrepreneurial thinking and action. Participants were then immersed in exciting presentations by experts from FRISCHEMANUFAKTUR GmbH, Unite Network SE and Deutsche Kinder- und Jugendstiftung GmbH. Topics such as "Opportunities and Risks", "Environment - SWOT Analysis", "Marketing" and "Resources - Student Company" were presented in a lively and practical way. Meanwhile, teachers had the opportunity to take part in a workshop on the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp).

After an invigorating lunch break, workshops on prototyping, youth engagement, project management and app development were on the agenda. The students were guided by experts from regional companies and organizations such as GISA GmbH, Polarith GmbH, wirewire GmbH and the Halle-Saalekreis e. V. volunteer agency.

A particular highlight was the World Café, where the teams were able to share their creative project ideas in a lively discussion. Afterwards, the young founder Darius Göttert from Spreadly GmbH inspired the students with an inspiring closing speech on the topic of "Seeing and using opportunities".

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt thanked all participants and partners who contributed to the success of the boot camp: "The echt.MACHEN boot camp offered a wide range of activities with interactive learning opportunities for pupils as well as local companies and organizations. The quick start of the project directly after the launch of our support programs for founders shows the great commitment to start-ups and entrepreneurship in Saxony-Anhalt. We are happy to continue supporting all pupils in the state and look forward to the many implementation projects in the coming school years," says State Secretary Pötzsch.

The enthusiastic statements of the participating pupils from the Oschersleben grammar school encourage the project team and reflect the learning and, above all, motivational success of the day:

"It's a great idea and a great organization today. Different groups and also different schools, I really liked that."

The motto of echt.MACHEN, the new Univations project for pupils in Saxony-Anhalt, is: A school year. Your project. The pilot phase has been running since October 2023 and over 250 children and young people are taking part. They receive support for one school year to develop and implement their very own project ideas.

real.make is coordinated by Univations and financed by the Ministry of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt with funds from the state and the European Union (European Social Fund ESF+) as part of the ego.Konzept program.
